The Black Fox - New Vintage Series flat-top acoustic model designed to duplicate the great flat-top guitars of the early 1930's, in every single detail. Spruce top and solid mahogany back, sides & neck, finished in "black ebony" lacquer. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Ebony nut & bridge pins. Solid bone saddle. Ivoroid single bound top (no back binding). MOP dots. Light X-braced top, and ladder-braced back, along with the 12-fret neck, make it an extremely light-weight, but powerful sounding guitar. Suitable for finger picking or plectrum.

The Black Fox comes standard with Stew-Mac “Golden Age” 3-on-a-plate nickel tuners with black buttons (unless otherwise requested). Ebony peghead with inlaid MOP logo, ebony nut & bone saddle, ivoroid bridge pins & matching end-pin, 12-53 gauge strings, Pearl FB dots, NO side position markers. Ivoroid top binding only (no back binding). A $500 deposit is required at start and balance due prior to shipping. Lead-time is approx. 6-8 weeks depending on model.
