The Red Fox – Fox Guitars “New Vintage Series” flat-top acoustic model is a replica of a 1930 Gibson L-1 in every single detail except the logo. Solid Adirondack Red spruce top and solid over solid mahogany back, sides & neck. VERY special hand-rubbed sunburst finish. Back & sides finished in brown mahogany for an authentic vintage look. Solid rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Bone nut & saddle. Ivoroid bridge pins & end-pin. Ivoroid single bound top & back. Mother-of-pearl fingerboard dots. StewMac "Golden Age" 3-on-a-plate tuners with white buttons. Shallow “C” profile neck. Light X-braced top, and ladder-braced back, along with the 12-fret neck makes it an extremely light-weight, but powerful sounding guitar. Suitable for finger picking or plectrum.

Guitar is new but does have a couple of blemishes in the finish. One U-shaped scratch on the top in the lower bout that’s been touched up, but visible. Only cosmetic blemishes and no structural problems. Guitar is set-up and ready to play. Comes with new black hard-shell case.
