New handmade replacement pickguard for the Gibson Kalamazoo Award arch-top electric guitar. Fox Guitars’ TruVintage replacement pickguards very accurately reproduce the look of an aged original Gibson factory pickguard. They are made from 100% real celluloid tortoise shell with a rigid semi-translucent acrylic backing, which allows more light to show through the celluloid, and for added strength and stability. Eagle and tree design are inlaid iridescent pearl and has a 5-ply aged ivoroid/black/ivoroid/black/ivoroid binding around the edges including the pickup cut-out. Hand-buffed glossy finish. All holes for mounting pickguard hardware and electronics are pre-drilled to the exact specifications of an original factory pickguard.
